I have a 9yo stepdaughter who wears a womens size 16 in jeans. I have searched high & low for fashionable jeans for her to no avail. I did manage to find one solitary pair of Arizona jeans in a plus girls 20 1/2 at my local JCPenney but apparently it must have been some fluke in sizing because I can’t find anymore, even on their website.

I can buy her womens jeans but it is painful to pay top price for jeans that I have to pay someone to cut 8″ off because the legs are way to long and capris don’t do well in the winter and for young girls, womens jeans are so “blah”.

Since she doesn’t live with me full time I don’t have any control over her diet/exercise and I worry about any negative pressure to her self-esteem by addressing her weight issues.

Does anyone know of any online stores which may be of help?

I am a size 18/20 womens. So I can’t buy clothes in all the cute stores at the mall. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions where I could shop most likely online for nize clothes in this size range. It seems most places use really cheap material with shotty construction for plus size clothes. Also they use crazy patterns only my grandma would wear. Apparently they think by wearing a blinding pattern people with think I am skinner. Also they all tend to look like materinty clothes. I certaintly don’t need people coming up to me asking me when I am due. Any help would be appriciated.

Right. I know what you’re talking about. I take the approach that, if i’m going to have to buy clothes with cheap material and shotty construction, I’m certainly not going to pay top dollar (lane bryant).

I just bought some stuff from Fashion Bug. that’s where I see the crazy blinding patterns a lot, but if you’re choosy enough there you can get a few things. Old navy also does plus sizes online.

I can’t help you with finding someone to sew your designs, but if you are interested in finding an investor for your project, you are going to want to create a business plan.

For instance, if I invest $100,000 in your project, what do I get in return? Do I get a majority interest in the business? Do I get a high rate of return on the dividends you pay me? Or will I just be expected to make capital contributions until you make it big and then receive 80% of the sale price when you implement an exit strategy?
