Not necessarily. It depends on where you get your clothes from. If you shop in the juniors (like I do cause I'm short) the a nine is not anywhere near plus size.
Sizes are all screwy these days anyway. I would just go to the plus size sections next time you are at a store. If it all looks too big then you arent close.

No, you are not even close. The average women wears a 10, so you are perfectly normal. You would have to go past a size 14 to be plus size. You would also have to go past an XL.

Once a person can no longer fit into an XL, then they are considered a full figure size. No, you are not a plus size or close to it.

Plus size means bigger than regular size. Plus sizes start somewhere around 14-16, I believe, whereas regular sizes are 0-14. It sounds like you shop in Juniors. Size 9 is not big. Just think anything bigger than XL is plus sized.

It definitely depends on where you get your clothes from. But you aren't a plus size until size 16. And if you're going by sizes on the odd scale (1, 3, 5, etc.)like most juniors departments, they run smaller anyways. If you were actually going by the even scales (2,4) like abercrombie and ae which run larger you'd probably only be an 8. So I don't know where they got their information but the plus sizes start at 16, and you are at least 4 sizes away (which is a lot).

Like women size age 20 and up, size 14 is consideer a plus size. Sometime outlets will make up the garment a few dollars more at that size which is outrageous! Only 1 size above size 12.

Size nine is a really good size. Plus size starts at size 12 and up. I wear plus size and dont think I could get any smaller than a size 12. I am really tall and big boned! I love my curves and would not want them any other way!!
