You could try wearing maternity jeans. I know women who have continued to do that long after they'd actually given birth. Just wear a long top over them. Just a thought! References :
My mom used to shop at Ann Taylor. (I think that's what is is called?). And also Macys has really awesome jeans. Any departement store will have jeans. You may have to go up a size or two becasue they're department jeans, but they'll fit you well! Also, I have that problem of my hips are bigger than the size of my legs and although I'm not plus sizes, I shop at the department stores. Dillards, Le Tigre, J. Crew, LL Bean, Eddie Bauer…they should all do wonders! Good luck! References :
Old navy has a plus size line, as well as a website. (Oldnavy.com). Also, you can check out American Eagle Outfitters, they also have a website. (ae.com) They have a wide variety of sizes, and styles which are flattering, as well as high quality with low prices. They also come in short, long, or regular! I hope that helps, if not you can also try sweatpants, such as So Lows, or Hard Tail's which are average priced, when on sale! So Low has a website, solowstyle.com, and they also have Denim. I couldn't find any jeans that fit right either, until I found custom made jeans. I get mine at Make Your Own Jeans. They're only $48.00 and you have total control over the style, fit, cut, rise, length, everything. I just love them. You even have choices of different cute pockets and other embellishments. They look great and they're so comfortable because they fit perfectly. http://www.jeanshub.com/MakeYourOwnJeans/htmlredir.html References : http://www.jeanshub.com
I would suggest shopping at Search By Inseam. The site allows you to search plus size jeans by your exact (short) inseam, favorite brands, and price range. I've also heard good things about the tummy control in Not Your Daughter's Jeans. I hope it helps! References : http://www.searchbyinseam.com
