Yes its okay, just be yourself and be glad your not doing something just because everyone else is. As long as your comfortable than it shouldn't matter. Besides its not like no one is gonna point you out in a crowd for not wearing short shorts lol References :
It is totally okay not to wear short shorts or short skirts! I don't wear short clothes either. Just because you got it, doesn't mean you have to flaunt it! haha I wear shorts, but i make sure they aren't inappropriate. I mean, they aren't bermudas but they aren't up my butt like all of the other girls.
I love wearing jeans! I just ordered some and should be getting them today =) I can't wait. Don't conform! Wear what you want to wear and rock it =) References :

the length of what you wear should not matter to anyone. you should wear what makes you feel the most comfortable. its your skin and you should feel good and confident in it. jeans is a perfectly fine thing to wear. i personally wear them a lot. if you feel okay in capris you could wear those also. then there are dresses. they have them long as well. but if jeans are what you like then you wear them no matter what every one else wears. Of course it is okay. I lived by Lake Erie (after transplanting from a very warm area) and I wore jeans every summer while surrounded by shorts.
What matters most about an outfit is that you are comfortable in it and it makes you feel good about yourself. References :

lol oh man you're JUST like me!
I feel like the odd ball out too…
Ive tried changing but I stay true to my jeans….And that's pretty much it lol.
Capris I'm even uncomfortable in!!
So @ least you know you're not alone!
I RARELY wear ANY short pant of any sorts.
So you're fine, I used to think there was something wrong with me too for doing that.
It's frustrating I know!
