Current Plus Size Fashion?

My fiancé wants me to buy another $200 worth of new clothes. I already spent $150 & bought some Bermuda shorts, capris, & 2 shirts that look like halter tops but they have an attached wrap around shirt. The thing is, I’m having a hard time finding anything that looks good on me & I want to look fashionable, too.

I’m 23, & wear size 22/24 pants, and my shirt size varies between 24 and 26. My fiance thinks I’m very unfashionable, although, he’s much older. My friends don’t think there’s anything wrong with what I wear, & they’re my age.

Any websites/stores you can think of that definitely supply my size & are fashionable for MY AGE group? I get this catalog in the mail for plus sizes & it’s all colored short sets & stupid stuff like that, like my mom would wear. I’d never buy that! I understand that plus-size women can’t always look good in the same thing skinny women can. I would really appreciate some useful fashion tips. I like to tastefully show some skin. Also need color suggestions

The clothes I recently bought were from Fashion Bug. I come from a small town in NH where there aren’t many stores, but live in MO now near KC so there’s more selection. my BF can’t go w/ me cuz he’s workin the RR won’t be home til August. He is paying for the clothes, as all the bills, since we have a 8 month old son and I’m a stay@home mom. He likes my size but not my clothes, cuz he says they look “raggady @ssed..??” anyway…like I said b4…he’s a lot older, and not used to a younger woman but he says he knows what he’s talkin about for clothes…still calls pants “slacks” though…and every shirt is a “blouse” to him lol. whatever.

Anyway,…i’ve spent $150 on clothes already and he’s givin me another $200. Says I wear too many browns…but I like brown…it goes with my skin…it’s my preferred color (earthtones)…but I’m trying to get away from that a bit and broaden my color selection. Tryin to lose weight too, but that’s another story lol.

One of my closest friends is plus-sized and HATES the matronly styles in the plus-sized sections at the stores. I know that many clothing stores now have, at least online, plus sized sections. It’s a sort of search portal focused on plus sized clothing- it gives you tons of different plus sized clothing sites, as well as specific information about each site. It is also split into categories (casual, swimwear, accessories, formal…etc). This site should keep you busy all day spending money haha.
