As a wearer of boardies for many many years on the beach scene alot of girls do wear guys boardies.
However if you want a decent pair you have to pay the price.

Go in to a mens clothes shop and they have horrible flowery hawaiian designs on them for like £7 which are truley awful, no surfer wears hawaiian flowery designs,its tacky and they wont really flatter your shape.

Your best bet is just to splash out on one good pair.If you reasearch in to boardies you will know that they make al different shapes for women.Even the longer boardshorts are now more fitted to flatter a womens shape.

I have had that exact same problem.
I ended up buying guys board shorts….and you couldn't even tell the difference. They look pretty much like girls shorts.

So i would def. say buy the shorts…..No one will know!!

if you like the mens style board shorts and then you feel comfotable in them then you shouldn't are what anyone else thinks. i agree with you theren't aren't as many as the men (boardshorts) we have hardly any.

I know what you mean. I wear them when i go jetskiing beacuase if i dont i get the worst sunburn on the tops of my theighs. I looked for the girliest ones possible, i found some solid red volcum ones that look just like girl ones they have. If you can find a girly top to go with it. If you can wear a bikini top that will balance it out, or look for a tube top swim top or a halter swim top to make it look more feminine good luck!

Yes I wear mens board shorts and nobody can really tell that they're mens (either that or they don't bother telling me, lol.) So I think you should. They're really comfortable, as well.

they're actually quiet nice to wear ^_^
try to loose the non-girlish effect by wearing some vans or a feminine short sleeved shirt
idk how to say it but mens board shorts is a good skater-ish look
